Castle of Ravadinovo and Nesebar
Just a stone-throw away from the seaside resort Sozopol is the Castle of Ravadinovo. This is one very unusual building set in the most unusual location as it is built in the middle of a field very close to the motorway. The architecture of the building is quite extravagant, unusual and exotic for Bulgaria. The construction of the Castle started 20 years ago and now people can see that it truly is one unique place.
Nessebar
Very close to the Castle of Ravadinovo is located one of the major seaside resorts in Bulgaria and an ancient sea port Nessebar. The old town of Nessebar is an open-air museum included in the UNESCO Heritage Site list. It is a destination that attracts thousands of tourists every year who wish to admire it.
There are many well-preserved old houses in the Old part of the town and the small streets are full of stalls offering many and different souvenirs so the visitors can take home a part of Nessebar. The restaurants offer mainly sea food as the fishermen supply them with fresh fish daily.
