Varna International Airport is located on the north coastline of Bulgaria and it is 7.5 kilometers away from Varna city center. The airport is open 24 hours and welcomes mainly charter and international flights. The airport is very busy in the summer when tourists flock to Varna beaches. The summer charter flights start in March and finish at the end of October.
The airport connects to more than 100 destinations in 35 countries. Since August 2013, the brand new Terminal 2 has been operational and the tourists enjoy a lot of new and modern amenities. On 27th August 2013, Terminal 1 was closed and is no longer operational.
