BANEASA AIRPORT TRANSFER , BUCHAREST
Baneasa International airport is located 8.5 kilometers north from the center of the Romanian capital Bucharest. It started operating in 1912, which makes it the oldest airport in Eastern Europe and one of the five oldest airports in the world. Until 1965, this was the only airport in the capital. It only has one Terminal which is located in a beautiful building. The building is of historical importance and cannot be upgraded or extended.
Even though it is much closer to the center than the other airport Otopeni, it is the second busiest airport in Bucharest and mainly serves the flights of the low cost companies. Baneasa is the home of the low cost airline Blue Air.
